Yamaha R3 Tron Edition is nothing less than a dream come true for every rider with a desire to upgrade from an existing single cylinder motorcycle. A-Wraps have skillfully wrapped the R3 in matt black, leaving Tron lines running throughout the body for a marvelous feel.
Yamaha R3 is already an amazing motorcycle, but the use of blue lines on all black finish helps it achieve that mean machine look to the next level. All this comes paired to an aftermarket exhaust system for added aural pleasure, claiming a reputable spot among modified, fully faired motorcycles of India.
The lines are reflective in character, creating a unique visual feel when throwing light on the bike from any side. In bright daylight, these blue lines define the muscular styling and perfectly flaunts every possible curve on the body. The exhaust canister and instrument console are two specific places where Tron lines look super cool for sure.
The front of Yamaha R3 comes with a Batman logo. Yamaha R3 is available in Racing Blue and Magma Black as stock. The latter is available with a matte finish and looks almost similar to the base black shade seen on Tron Edition.
Yamaha R3 is powered by a 321cc, twin-cylinder engine producing, 42HP and 29.6Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Yamaha R3 was the most effective twin-cylinder motorcycle of its class but, the launch of locally produced Kawasaki Ninja 300 ABS has dethroned the model with a price gap of INR 50,000.
It is yet to be seen how Yamaha reacts to this change as local production from their side could result in even better pricing. The stock version of R3 comes with halogen lights, semi-digital instrument console, and clip-on handlebars. It rivals Benelli 302R, Ninja 300 and Ninja 400 in India.
