With the BS4 vehicle registration deadline only a few days away, dealerships are offering massive discounts on motorcycles. The Ducati Mumbai dealership is selling the new Multistrada 1200 Enduro at Rs 16 lakh, on-road. This is indeed a hefty discount, considering that the ex-showroom price of the bike at the time of launch was Rs 17.44 lakh. That said, bear in mind that the Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro is an old model, and Ducati has already launched its successor, the Multistrada 1260 Enduro, in India. The 1260 is priced at a little over 19 lakh (ex-showroom) and bears significant improvements, as we discovered during our tests.
Nevertheless, the Multistrada 1200 Enduro presents itself as an excellent deal at Rs 16 lakh, considering the vast equipment list on offer.
The bike is powered by a BS4-compliant, 1,198cc, L-twin engine that produces 162hp and 136Nm of torque. It’s paired with a 6-speed gearbox and gets four riding modes – Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro.
Tech on board includes a ride-by-wire throttle, cornering ABS, traction control, Ducati Wheelie Control, cruise control, hill-hold control and hands-free ignition. It also comes with full LED lights with cornering lights, and the Ducati Multimedia System.
Other features include Sachs semi-active suspension and wire-spoke wheels (19-inch front and 17-inch rear).
