Service centres will follow a strict protocol to ensure safety
Bajaj has announced that service centres for its electric scooter sub-brand, Chetak, are now operational. All Chetak service centres in Bengaluru and a select few in Pune have now reopened.
The company has said that its service centres are following a strict protocol to ensure the safety of all people on the premises. Chetak now joins the list of two-wheeler companies that have also restarted operations over the last few weeks. Hero, Bajaj, KTM, Piaggio, Royal Enfield, TVS, Jawa, Harley-Davidson, Honda and electric companies like Hero Electric and Okinawa were among the first to begin operations.
While Bajaj hasn’t revealed if they’ve restarted manufacturing and sales for the Chetak, we don’t expect that announcement to be far away. What we do know is that Bajaj has begun production of its other offerings, as its plants in Aurangabad, Pantnagar and Chakan have resumed operations.
