Piaggio India’s Vespa and Aprilia dealerships and service centres are now open in Bangalore, Mysore, Belgaum, Mangalore, Bijapur, Davangere, Shimoga and Udupi. The company says that its dealerships in Karnataka were reopened after receiving permission from local authorities.
This announcement comes shortly after the company restarted manufacturing at all three of its Baramati plants upon receiving permission from the government. The scooter showrooms and workshops are said to be completely sanitised, in accordance to the guidelines introduced by the company, to maximise safety of the employees and customers.
Not only are the showrooms and workshops sanitised, they also follow protocols like contactless greeting, wearing protective gear and using hand sanitisers while addressing the sales and service needs of the customer. Customers can call and pre-book service appointment to avoid crowding at the workshops.
