BMW Motorrad has revealed the updated S 1000 RR, S 1000 XR, K1600 models and more. The German brand is referring to these updates as revisions for the model year 2021.
The company’s popular supersport machine, the S 1000 RR gets two new colours – ‘Black Storm metallic’ and a non-metallic colour called ‘Racing Red’. The motorcycle also gets Euro 5 certification, which means it’s also BS6-compliant. BMW has also added a few new options including a sports silencer, ‘M’ titanium exhaust system and other M-branded components like an ‘endurance chain’, engine protectors, lever protection and more.
As for the S 1000 XR, it gets a new M colour scheme for the ‘Sport Style’ version. The bike also gets the option of a titanium sports silencer, a tour package that includes a new luggage rack and a USB charging port. Like the S 1000 RR, the XR also gets an optional M-branded endurance chain, engine protectors and more.
BMW’s R 1250 R and R 1250 RS has also received Euro 5 certification, new colours and a number of new optional add-ons. The K1600 range now has new colour options, features and optional accessories. For complete details on each new option, head to the BMW Motorrad website.
