Scheme can be availed at all Yamaha dealerships
Yamaha has rolled out a special finance scheme for all COVID-19 frontline workers across India. As per the new scheme, people involved in the fight against coronavirus can avail of a flat 50 percent reduction in the first three EMIs of their Yamaha two-wheeler’s loan tenure. The company says that this will help reduce the burden of EMIs and is their way of 'incentivising the dedication' of those involved in fighting the pandemic. The list of frontline workers includes doctors, medical staff, police force personnel and those involved in providing essential services. The scheme is valid until July 31 and can be availed at any authorised Yamaha dealership.
The company also undertook another initiative to pay tribute to coronavirus warriors in India. A special 'Thank you' sticker has been put on all vehicles used by its employees as well as the trucks that transport Yamaha two-wheelers to dealerships across India.
In other news, Yamaha recently celebrated its 65th anniversary and the theme of the celebrations was its heritage. Yamaha's two-wheeler division rolled out their first product, the YA 1 in Japan, in the year 1955, and over the years, the company has launched successful motorcycles like the YZF-R6 and the YZF-R1. Yamaha adds that it had major celebration plans in store for the occasion, however, the current COVID-19 situation has forced them to adopt digital means to engage with its customers and employees and celebrate the occasion.
