The most affordable RE now costs Rs 1.27 lakh
This is the second time Royal Enfield has hiked the prices of its BS6-compliant models. The first price hike of around Rs 3,000 came in May 2020. The latest price hike isn’t as big, but it does drive up the prices of the entire Royal Enfield range.
RE Bullet 350 price hike
The company’s most affordable model, the Bullet 350, was launched in BS6 spec in March 2020. The latest price hike of around Rs 2,800 has now taken the price of the most affordable variant (Bullet X 350) to Rs 1.27 lakh. The regular version of the Bullet now costs Rs 1.33 lakh, while the electric-start equipped version is priced at Rs 1.42 lakh.
RE Classic 350 price hike
As for the company’s most popular offering, the Classic 350, it has now gone up by around Rs 1,800. The latest prices now stand at Rs 1.61 lakh for the single-channel ABS version, while the dual-channel ABS versions now range from Rs 1.69-1.86 lakh.
RE Himalayan price increase
Similarly, Royal Enfield’s adventure motorcycle, the Himalayan, has also received a price hike of around Rs 1,800. This means it now costs between Rs 1.91 lakh and Rs 1.95 lakh, depending on the variant. This price increase also takes the motorcycle close to the Rs 2 lakh mark.
RE Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650 price increase
The company’s flagship offerings, the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, also see their price increase by around Rs 1,800. What this means is that the Interceptor 650 now ranges from Rs 2.66-2.97 lakh. The cafe-racer styled Continental GT 650, meanwhile, now costs between Rs 2.82 lakh and Rs 3.03 lakh.
This price hike comes just before the expected launch of the upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 350.
