TVS Ntorq 125 Call of Design Season 2 event
The TVS Ntorq 125 Call of Design is a contest that allows budding designers to showcase their skills. The event takes off from where Season 1 ended, with this year’s theme revolving around the comic book theme ‘Rise of Ntorqians’. Participants were required to create 2D renditions and sketches of their SuperNtorq. They were judged on the basis of adherence to the comic book theme, innovation, concept and resonance with a Super Machine. In addition, their designs had to resonate with TVS’ Racing heritage and accomplishments.
The event began in August 2020 and witnessed over 600 registrations, including those from 35 design institutes.
TVS Ntorq 125 Call of Design Season 2 winner
The winner of the TVS Ntorq 125 Call of Design Season 2 is Aayush Bijalwan from School of Design, UPES (Dehradun). The youngster was awarded top honours for his rendition of the SuperNortq, based on this season’s comic book theme, ‘Rise of the Ntorqians’. Bijalwan won the keys to a brand new, TVS Ntorq 125 as well as a cash prize amounting to Rs 30,000.
The first runner-up was Abishek Chellapandiyan from Strate School of Design (Bengaluru), while Mr Arsh Riyaz Maknojia from MIT Institute of Design (Pune) secured the third spot.
There was a Viewer’s Choice award as well, which saw 15 entries making it to the voting table. In the end, Arsh Riyaz Maknojia from MIT Institute of Design (Pune) won the ‘Viewer’s Choice’ Award.
