Prices for the Bajaj Pulsar range of motorcycles were recently hiked. While nearly all the models remained the same, the Pulsar 220F (priced at Rs 1.25 lakh, ex-showroom) received a minor update in the form of an updated instrument cluster.

Speedometer cable now connected to the rear wheel
The Bajaj Pulsar 220F continues to use a digi-analogue instrument cluster, just like before, but the manufacturer appears to have made changes to its layout. For starters, the fuel-gauge is now at the bottom-right corner of the screen, while the odometer has been moved to the right side. The unit now also displays fuel economy and range-to-empty, but is void of a gear position indicator.
The rest of the bike remains unchanged. The Pulsar 220F is powered by a 220cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that produces peak output figures of 20.4hp at 8,500rpm and 18.55Nm at 7,000rpm.
Bajaj Auto achieves milestone
In other news, Bajaj recently became the first two-wheeler company in the world to cross a market capitalization of Rs 1 lakh crore. As per analysts, a market capitalisation of over Rs 1 lakh crore has not been achieved before by any international two-wheeler company anywhere in the world. Thus, Bajaj Auto is not only the most valued company in the two-wheeler segment, but also the first-ever two-wheeler company in the world to have reached this market cap milestone.
